Bobbye Jo Curnutte

Bobbye Jo Curnutte, age 83 of Kingwood, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born April 20, 1934 in Appleton, Arkansas to parents Walter Ezekial Andrews and Amy Ethel Patterson Andrews who preceded her in death along with her husband, Elmer Dwayne Curnutte; son Steven Dwayne Curnutte; daughter, Carol Lynn Merten; and all her brothers and sisters.

Bobbye graduated from Hector High School in 1952 and married Elmer Dwayne Curnutte May 2, 1952. She grew up in Pope County, Arkansas, the youngest of 11 children born to Walter and Ethel Andrews. She enjoyed music and sewing.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Kathleen Mathes and Luzanne Jean Vance; grandchildren, Stacie Michelle Creech, Tason Paul Vance, Kalee Jo Hardy; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m., - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A reception will follow the service at the La Quinta Inn, 1004 U.S. 59 N Bypass, Cleveland, TX 77327.
