Bobby Wayne Smith

Bobby Wayne Smith, 76, of Dayton, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021, in Dayton. Bobby was born February 8,1945 in San Angelo, Texas, to parents John Howard Legan Smith and Gladys Ruth Tomlinson.

Bobby had lived in Texas most of his life and in Dayton for the past three years. He was a former resident of Illinois. He was employed in the construction business as a pipefitter. Bobby was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Illinois. He also was a hospital volunteer and locksmith.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Donna Smith; his children, Terry Smith, Howard Eddie Smith, Patty Smith, Tina Williams, Lisa Parrish and Scott Doty; his brother, Paul Smith and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Smith will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown. Arrangements are under the directions of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.
