Bobby Lynn Burns

Bobby “Bob” Lynn Burns, age 60, of Conroe, Texas, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at his home. Bob was born in Houston, Texas on February 29, 1952 to parents Leonard Earl Burns and Ruby Lee Stanley Burns. Bob became ill as a young man of 19 years old and his lungs failed him. He grew weary as the years went by. He was strong in the Lord and always excepted things with grace. He was a foreman for Blume Tree Service for many years. He loved plants, flowers and nature in general. Bobby was a good son and hard worker. Bob is preceded in death by his father Leonard Earl Burns; his grandparents; and his two sisters. Survivors include his wife Brenda Murrell Burns; mother Ruby Carnahan; son Bobby Burns, Jr.; daughters Jennifer Pierre and Eva Rabalais; step-sons Willis Gant and wife Misty, Ross Bain, Paul Ber; brothers Danny Thomas and Roy Thomas; grandchildren Stormy Gant, Bobby Shawn Gant, Steven Gant, Annie Gant, Joshua Gant, Elijah Pierre; two nephews one niece and numerous other cherished family members and friends. Bishop David Taly presided over funeral services held Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers included Danny Joe Thomas, Roger Babb, Willis Gant, Boyd Vincent, Ross Bain, and Bobby Shawn.
