Bobby Joe Johnston, age 67, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Kingwood Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1944 in Silsbee, Texas to parents, James Harlen and Alice Mae Johnston who preceded him in death along with his son, Edwin Johnston; brother, Ernest Johnston; sisters, Mable Hargraves and Eunice Johnson.
He will be remembered lovingly by his daughters, Renee Farr and husband, Jesse; daughter-in-law, Talisa Johnston-Ponder; sons, Edward Johnston and wife, Beth, Bobby Johnston Jr., Jason Johnston; brothers, J.D. Johnston and wife, Grace, Thomas Johnston and wife, Carolyn; sisters, Glenda Pelton and husband, Raymond, Wanda Johnston; grandchildren, Ashley Johnston, Amy Johnston, Allison Johnston, Jacob Johnston, Eric Johnston, Jessica Farr, Andrea Farr, Hayden Johnston, Jordan Johnston, Carter Johnston, Jalin Johnston, Joseph Johnston; great-grandchildren, Brayden Sutton and Cayden Sutton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and treasured friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011, 3:00 p.m. at Dolen Living Waters Church, Dolen, Texas.
