Bobby Jim Womack

Bobby Jim Womack, 89, of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Liberty. Mr. Womack was born December 6, 1931 in Gordon, Alabama to parents William Donnell Womack and Lettie C. Roney Womack.

Mr. Womack was of the Baptist faith. He had been a resident of Liberty since 1976 and a former resident of Houston. Mr. Womack was employed as a foreman at Texas Bolt Machine Shop in Houston. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty Louise Womack; his sister Margie Jeffcoat; his brother Rudolph Womack and grandson, Craig Boone.
He is survived by daughters, Deborah Karen Ables and husband Robert, Connie Marie Brown and companion A.B. Brewer, Patricia Lynn Alston and husband Jerry; sister, Shelby Jean Deas and husband Santa; sons, John Boone and wife Doris, Jim Boone and wife Bonnie and Joe Boone; grandchildren, Jessica Raak and husband Michael, Christopher Ables and wife Kim, Laura Tanton and husband Bill, Erika Crate and husband Andy, Lynda Huggins and husband David, James Boone, III, Brent Boone, Merissa Boone, Nichole Boone, Jon Boone, Chris Boone, Courtney Boone, Carrie Musgrove and Chris Boone; great-grandchildren, Kelby, Lucas and Josh Tanton, Delany and Ethan Boyd, Brianna Brown, Haleigh Huggins, Nevaeh, Aubree and Maddy Boone, Kaitlyn Boone, Haylie Bookout, Mia and Nathaniel Boone, Arean, Zoe, and James Boone, Kimberly Jones, Travis and Gabriel Ruttshaw, Kennedy Ables, Savannah Raak, and numerous great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Service will be scheduled at a later date under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Dayton, Texas.
