Bobby Dean Mccleskey

Bobby Dean McCleskey, age 73 and a resident of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. He was born in Porter, Texas in 1939 to parents Marlin and Alma McCleskey who preceded him in death along with his son Marlin Dean (Dino) McCleskey; brother Eugene McCleskey; and his sister Joyce Archer. Mr. McCleskey was a Carpenter by trade and was employed by Sun Builders. He was a distinguished Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War from July 1956 to May 1958. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, devoted brother, and steadfast friend. He will be missed by all who loved him. Survivors include his two sons Robert McCleskey and Jerry McCleskey; one daughter Terry McCleskey Voight; brother George McCleskey; sisters Doris Gray and Barbara Elmore; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 01, 2013 at Enloe Cemetery, Porter, Texas. Pallbearers include Roy Gilson, Larry Williams, Keith Oakley, Kent Oakley, Freddie Gray, and Sammy Gray.
