Bobby Dale Lum, age 50 of Huntington, Texas passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was born May 28, 1971 in Dayton, Texas to parents Bruce and Gail Lum. He is preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Bradley Lum; wife, Angel Kirkland Lum; grandparents, Willie Erastus and Myrtle Corrine Lum; and grandfather, Zelmon T. Hart.
Bobby Dale grew up in Cleveland, Texas where he attended Cleveland schools with his brothers and cousins. He and his family resided in Huntington, Texas. Bobby had been a loyal employee of Jerry’s Tire Shop in Huntington since March 2010. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Bobby never met a stranger. He was known in the community as: THE TIRE MAN.
Survivors include his loving wife, Savannah Renna Boone Lum; parents, Bruce and Gail Lum; sons, Dustin Daniel Lum, Sebastian Dale Lum, Curtis Grey Lum, and Gabriel Rea Lum; granddaughter, Anastasia Marie Lum; brothers, Neil and wife Lisa Lum, and Charles Lum; niece, Kaitlyn Lum and fiancé Cody Wilde; nephews, Zelmon Bradley Lum, Jesse Erastus Lum and fiancé Eternity Rochell, and Riley Jayden Lum; father-in-law, Jessie Boone, Sr.; brother-in-law, Tyler Boone; grandmother, Lillie Nail; along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Zavalla First Baptist Church, 1034 E Main St, Zavalla, TX 75980. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at Lum's Garden of Memories, Cleveland, Texas.
