Bobby Conner

Bobby John Conner, age 81, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away, Friday, December 10, 2010. He was born December 11, 1928 in Houston, Texas to parents, James Columbus and Mary Ellen Conner who preceded him in death along with sister, Effie Jimmie Nell Gatts; brothers, Robert Elwood Conner, James Preston Conner, Lloyd Joe Conner, Claude Marvin Conner, and Milton Ray Conner; children, Cheryl Ann Neumann and Milton Ray Conner, Jr.; nephews and nieces, Jimmie Conner, Sharon Elaine Klander, Harvey Alton Paschal, Kathy Conner, Richard Wayne Moore and Marjorie Ellen Ivy. Survivors include his loving wife, Jimmie Dee Conner; children, Mark Edward Conner and wife, Susan, Bobbi Dee Anderson and husband, David, Brenda Diane Sherman and husband, Robbie, Deborah Jean Scott and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Alyssa DeAnn Tucker and husband, Calvin, David Earl Anderson, Katie Elizabeth Conner, Misty Steele, Robbie Sherman Jr. and wife, Dana, Brent Sherman, Jason Scott, Mitchell Conner, Daniel Neumann, and Casey Scott; sisters, Mary Margaret Higginbotham, Kathryn Paschal; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2010, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Mark Conner will preside over funeral services being held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Yeager, Jason Scott, Brent Sherman, Casey Scott, Robbie Sherman Jr., and Mitchell Conner. Honorary pallbearers include the Deacons of Magnolia Baptist Church along with Daryl Snead, Jerry Lott, H.E. Stark, and Gene Potter.
