CAYTON Bobby Breen Cayton, age 75 and a resident of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 in Conroe, Texas. He was born September 13, 1938 in Chocowinity, North Carolina to Mayhew and Lillian (Dixon) Cayton. Mr. Cayton was a distinguished Veteran of the United States Air Force. He served proudly from June 1957 until retirement in 1979. Bob began his teaching career at the Texas Department of Corrections and taught until 1996. While working for TDC he completed his Bachelor degree from Sam Houston State University. He served as Mason for many years as well as a member of The Huntsville American Legion. He was a member of The Onalaska Church of Christ. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and steadfast friend; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Susan; brother Travis; sister Joyce. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Norene; sons Bobby Breen Cayton Jr. and wife Lisa, Troy Lovett and wife Dana, Larry Lovett and wife Margaret, Gary Lovett, Darrell Lovett and wife Sharon and Ronnie Crozier; daughters Carol Ann Tillman and husband Randy, Kitty Lou Lockhart and husband Bruce; grandchildren Joey, Lia, Sean, Ashton and Tara Tillman, Jordon and Taylor Cayton, Michael, Heather and David Lovett, Larry, Kitty Beth, and Brett Lovett, Braden Lovett, Laurie David, Haley, Hanna and Ty Lockhart, Melissa and Kristie Crozier; Fifteen great grandchildren; brother Mayhew “Pee Wee†Cayton and wife Marie; sisters Pat Newsom and husband Gary, Catherine Dixon and husband Tom, Joan Baker and husband Wayne; brother in law Billy Whichard; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, March 17, 2014, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Pastor Homer Anderson will preside over funeral services held Tuesday, March 18, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Onalaska Church of Christ, Onalaska, Texas with interment following at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. The Cayton and Lovett family would like to thank the members of the Onalaska Church of Christ and all the medical personnel that have assisted with Bobby’s care over the past four years.
