Billie Marie Barley

Billie Barley, 70 of Houston passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016.

Services for Mrs. Barley will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

She was born January 5, 1946 in Galveston, Texas to parents Emil Zigal and Melba Jones Zigal and attended Texas City High School. Billie enjoyed sewing, reading, and dancing.

Billie is preceded in death by parents, stepson Glen Barley and grandsons MaKane Lyles and Cody Karm.

Billie Barley is survived by her husband Lonnie Barley, four children and three stepchildren, and their spouses. Her children and their spouses include Melinda and Alen Wisdom, Craig Pesl, Carolynn and Britt Andress, and Jill and Shawn Havard. Her stepchildren include Linda and Steve Fields, Brenda and Frank Simmons, and Mike and Debbie Barley.

Billie was blessed with ten grandchildren and step grandchildren: Chad and Carley Buck, Quentin Pesl, Jordan and Kyndall Smith, Samantha Tellez, Ashley Mazac, Morgan Morphew, Kara Simmons, Lauren Barley, and one great grandson, Jaxon. She is also survived by her three siblings and their spouses: Tom Zigal and Lynda Gonzales, Frank and Beverly Zigal, and Frances and Les Grubbs.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Humble Care for their loving care of Billie in her final year.
