Betty Vee Burt

Betty Vee Burt, age 88 of Huffman, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016. She was born October 21, 1927 in Jennings, Louisiana to parents Albert and Vernice Lovett who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Albert, Elbert, and Jay Lovett.

Survivors include her husband, John Wallace “Wally” Burt, Sr.; sons, John Burt and wife Donna, Steve Burt and wife Loretta, Ray Burt and wife Camille; grandchildren, Ricky Burt and wife Dana, Stuart Burt and wife Maritza, Jack Burt and wife Kim, Christopher Burt, Jarrod Burt and wife Keanne; great-grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Ashley Alexander, Kelsea Kirschner, Skylar, Scout, Saxen, Emily, Haley and Hogan Burt; great-great-grandchildren, Preston and Jackson Alexander, Axton Martin, Paisley and Tinley Kirschner; nephews, Johnny and David Lovett; and niece, Sherry Kay Mulbarger.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Crosby Church of Christ, Crosby, Texas. Interment will follow at Huffman Cemetery.
