Betty Jean Faircloth, age 78 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. She was born January 26, 1941 in Seagraves, Texas to parents Thaddaus Thomas Williams and Lavania E. Baxter Williams who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Raymond Williams, Roy Williams, Richard Williams and Harold Williams; and sister, Carolyn Williams.
Betty was a very artistic person who excelled at oil painting and stained glass. She loved working with children, and enjoyed sports.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Oran “Wayne” Faircloth; daughter, Tammi Thompson and husband Daniual Scott Thompson; brother, Riley Williams and wife Darlene; sisters, Johnnie Faye Boothe, Juanita Kennedy, and Nina Rayne; grandchildren, Daniual Brett Thompson and wife Molly, and Oran Chase Thompson; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Stephens Creek, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Stephens Creek, Texas officiated by Rev. Mariann Rayne. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
