Betty Jane Gregory, age 72, of Tarkington Prairie, Cleveland, Texas, passed away February 8, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in the The Woodlands. Betty was born in Liberty, Texas on August 28, 1939 to parents Woodrow “Rat” and Eugenia “Geanie” Smith who preceded her in death.
She will be remembered loving by her husband Dalton Gregory; her sons Brian H. Head, Brent H. Head and wife Misty, Dalton L. Gregory and wife Cassie, Paul E. Gregory; sisters Sandra Moore and husband Buddy, Dorothy G. Sherling, Eugenia Cross and husband Harold, Sue Gulledge and husband Luther; grandchildren, Railyn Head, Josey Head, Jesse Head, Blaine Head, Nathan Gregory, Beck Gregory, and Cameron J. Gregory; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2012, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Bill Nelson and Bro. Carl Williamson will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, February 11, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Oak Shade Cemetery. Pallbearers include Shane Gulledge, Dan Neelley, Ricky Moore, Kevin Carpenter, Grant Cook, and John Head.
