Bessie B. Moore Blair, 89, of Jacinto City, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Bluewater Cemetery in Livingston. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Bessie was born August 27, 1927 in Votaw, to parents; Claude E. and Myrtle J. Kite Moore, and a resident of Houston for 61 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, dancing, and especially spending time with her family.
Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 50 years: Raymond Blair, Jr.. She is survived by her daughters: Dolores Jane Hughes and husband Earl of Houston, Shirley Ann Ward of Freeport, and Kathleen Dawkins and husband Gary of Normangee, son: Raymond Wayne Blair of Navasota, brother: Claude Edward Moore of Votaw, sister: Marie Lyssy of Conroe, grandchildren: Olen Lee Youngblood, Regina Marchelle Morgan, Tillie Burnice Allison, Scotty Mikulin, Jana Dawkins, Jayden Dawkins, Malina Blair, and Cory Lee Welborne, great-grandchildren: Sabastian Youngblood, Sharayah Youngblood, Sayge Youngblood, Chasity Rene Armstrong, Kimberleigh Calistyn, Lorna Calistyn, Jordan Nikolas, Taupeah Morgan Joyner, Jayden Lee Welborne, and Taylor Dawn Welborne, great great-grandchild: Hollie Faith Armstrong and two on the way, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
