Bertia "Ross" Hooks, Jr.

Ross Hooks, Jr., age 89 of Livingston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He was born May 14, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to parents Bertia Roslyn Hooks, Sr. and Dollie Sullivan Hooks who preceded him in death along with his wife, Dorothy Hooks.

Survivors include his sons, Gary S. Hooks and Michael Hooks; daughter, Susan Benson and husband Rick; grandchild, Sean Walker; great-grandchildren, Paloma, Sage and Hadley; special friend, Peggy Bacak and husband Johnny; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
