Bernadine Caballero, 80, of Liberty, passed away September 7, 2018, in Liberty. She was born April 3, 1938 to the late Manuel and Gertrude Caballero.
Services for Mrs. Caballero will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday evening at Pace-Stancil.
Mrs. Caballero spent her life in Liberty, where she attended school. She had given her life to Christ and was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. She devoted her life to taking care of the needs of her children and grandchildren. The words that best describes her are “Sacrifice and Family”. She put the needs of her family in front of her own. She loved flowers and could be found taking care of her flower beds in the evenings after work. She had four children, Donald, Patrick, Ronnie and Mary. She so loved her family and always wanted the best for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Simon, Mike, Robert, and Albert; and sister, Mary. She leaves to celebrate her life her sons, Donald Caballero and wife Sandra, Patrick Caballero and wife Rose, Ronnie Caballero and wife Elva; her daughter, Mary Caballero Burrell and husband David; her three brothers, Joe Caballero, Jerry Caballero, and Johnny Caballero; her sister, Alice Mae Campbell; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
