Barbara Sue Squier

Barbara Sue Squier, daughter of Frank and Lois Strickland, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 20, 1952, and passed on January 7, 2025. She will always be remembered as the "Fun Aunt or Grandmother" as she always enjoyed playing with the kids and bringing them joy. Barbara raised her two sons and taught her grandchildren to always be compassionate and giving, as she never had a possession of her own that she wasn’t unwilling to give to someone else in need. She truly lived a life of giving to others. She taught her boys how to become parents and taught us all how to laugh, always have fun, and to always take care of everyone else first. Barbara's greatest joys came in the form of her grandchildren- Tyler, Trista, Jacob, Ethan and Lane, and the endless happiness they had together. 

Barbara went to join her Lord and Savior and those who preceded her in death including her loving husband Randall Squier; her parents Lois and Frank; and brothers Allen and Kenneth. She is survived by her sons Steven Squier and wife Rebecca, and Chris Squier and wife Jessica; grandchildren Tyler, Trista, Jacob, Ethan, and Lane; great-grandchildren Elijia, Weston and Archer; sisters Diane, Brenda, Louise and Kathy, and numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and caring friends. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Interment to follow at Squier Cemetery.
