Barbara Mcfarland

Barbara McFarland, 68, of Dayton died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the Woodlands after an extended illness. She was born August 25, 1943 in Gore, Oklahoma to parents Sim and Mabel Moss Chandler. She had lived in the Dayton area for the past 10 years and previously lived in Channelview. Barbara enjoyed decorating, working in the yard and growing her flowers. Services for Mrs. McFarland will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton with Rev. Jon Stouffer officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery. Mrs. McFarland was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Clifford “Cliff” Edwin McFarland of Dayton; sons: Shane Ortego of California and Dickie Ortego, Jr. of California; daughter: April Ortego of California; sisters: Cathy and Monica; special friends: Margaret, Brenda and Mark; also numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
