Barbara E. "Liz" Bolling McGuire, 67, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Barbara was born November 3, 1949 in Brownfield, to parents; Eugene Henry and Geneva Anne Marie Hand Bolling, a former resident Northshore, and has resided in Dayton for the past 20 years. She was a retired truck driver and member of the White Horse Revival Church. She also enjoyed going to the casino, animals, travel, and reading.
Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Tommy Bolling, and sisters: Betty Nichols and Brenda Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 22 years: Dennis McGuire of Dayton, sons: Harold Lynn Dougan, Jr. of Rio Vista and Shearidon Martin Dougan and wife Tanya of Arkansas, daughters: Geneva Anne Marie Carlisle of Dayton, Susanne Evette Dougan of Dayton, and Denise J. McGuire-Moore of Hallettsville, brother: Louis Bolling of Idaho, sister: Ruth Anne Tarpp of Idaho, grandchildren: Brian K, Dougan, Heather L. Griggs, Brandon Johnson, Halen Davis, Zachary Davis, Wyatt Dougan, Allyssa Dougan, Christopher Carlisle, and Melissa K. Anderson, great-grandchildren: Levi Johnson, Kaylee Johnson, Lynnie Griggs, Alicia Shelton, Jamie Shelton, and Kearsten Dunham, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
