Barbara Almany

Barbara Cowen Almany, 75, of Cleveland, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. She was born in Livingston, Texas, on July 16, 1938, to Elmer and Lorean Cowen. Born and raised in Texas, she graduated from Cleveland High School and Baylor University. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland and loved the Lord with all of her heart. She was loved by many friends and family. Barbara is survived by her husband, Harry Almany of Cleveland; 2 daughters, Melissa Kemper and her husband Tom, and Kimberly Killian and her husband, Glen; grandchildren Katelyn Killian, Kyle Killian, and Katherine Kemper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Services for Barbara Almany will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland. Interment will follow at Cleveland City Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, evening at the funeral home.
