Azalea Stephens

Azalea Regina Stephens, age 93, of Dayton, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010. She was born on December 29, 1916 in Daisetta, Texas. Bro. Byron Reeves will preside over funeral services held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Ryan Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rusty Tejeck, Jake Hawthorne, Jimmy Stephens, Jr., Nathan Barnard, Dewayne Purswell, Dusty Tejeck; honorary pallbearers, Joe Skip Barnard Jr., Freeman Lee, Curtis Lee, and Earl Strickland. She is preceded in death by her husband, Deward Stephens and her daughter, Fay Barnard. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Stephens Sr. and wife Margie; grandchildren, Wilma Templeton, Jimmy Stephens Jr. and wife, LaDonna, Toni Barnard, Nathan Barnard and wife, Maria; great-grandchildren, Dewayne Purswell II and wife, Brittany, Deanna Hawthorne and husband, Jake, George Stephens, Elizabeth Stephens, Austin Barnard, Donald DeLeon Jr.; great-great-grandchild, Lance Hawthorne; numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends.
