Austie Alpha Lee Beeson

Austie Alpha Lee Mead Beeson, 97, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. She was born April 19, 1917 in Tascosa, Texas to parents, Denny Mead and Annie Garrett Mead. A longtime resident of this area she had worked at Meekins Grocery Store. Graveside Service for Mrs. Beeson will be 1:00 p.m., Monday at Freeman Cemetery in Grangerland, Texas. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland. Mrs. Beeson was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Beeson, her son Harvey L. Beeson, grandson, Harvey L. “Sonny Boy” Beeson, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters: Barbara Porter and Darlene Wilkinson; her daughter-in-law: Debra Beeson; ten grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and twenty one great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and friends.
