Aridell M. “Dell†Kibodeaux Howard, 74, of Dayton, passed quietly in her sleep, Friday, March 20, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Dell was born October 17, 1940 in Gueydan, Louisiana, to parents; Hubert and Amelia Simon Kibodeaux, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Dayton for the past 20 years. She was a graduate of the Gueydan High School class of 1959 and attended St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Wal-Mart, Gordon’s Jewelers, and beauty shop owner. Dell also enjoyed reading and quilting. Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 42 years: James Brent Howard, daughter: Wendy Leigh Howard, and brother: Dalton Kibodeaux. She is survived by her son: Stacy Howard of Dayton, daughters: Darla Webb and husband Robin of Humble, Vanessa Williams and husband Mark of Humble, and Tiffaney Burns and husband Joe of Dayton, grandchildren: Larissa Arnold and husband Andrew, Ashley Shearer, and Kassandra Webb, great-grandchildren: Cameron Sorenson, Delaynie Trussel, Haylie Burns, Walker Shearer, Colt shearer, and Eli Arnold, special family friend: Dr. Alvin Richard, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
