Ann Catherine Allen

Ann Catherine Allen, age 64, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, January 22, 2013 in Kingwood, Texas. She was born April 08, 1948 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to parents Jim and Jo Ranallo who preceded her in death along with her son Jason Edward Varos, granddaughter Renee Miller; brother Jimmy Joe; and her sister Therese. Ann Catherine was a 1966 graduate of St. John’s Catholic High School, McAlester, Oklahoma; she attended St. Gregory’s in Shawnee, Oklahoma; and she served in the U.S. Air Force from 1974 to 1975. She passed away on her 9th anniversary to her beloved husband James. Her passion in life was spoiling her grandchildren. She will be remembered lovingly by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband James R. Allen; daughters Angela Edwards, Sandra Franklin and husband Nick; son Eric J. Varos and wife Marissa; sisters Angelina Ranallo Ernest, Mary Ranallo Schneberger, Stephen Marie Ranallo, Teresa Ranallo Raupe, Elizabeth Ranallo McGehee; brothers Joseph Ranallo, Jim Ranallo, and Chris Ranallo; grandchildren Shannon Miller, Katherine Pierce, Trish Edwards, Kayla O’Quinn, Ricky Franklin, Daniel, Victor, Carlos, and Andrew Varos, two great-grandchildren Allan and Bennett; fourteen nephews, and nine nieces. She was also blessed with wonderful sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts & uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
