Anastasia Reyes Costello, 57, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was born November 1, 1960 in Galveston, Texas to parents, John Curtis Costello, Sr. and Beatrice DeLeon Costello.
Service for Anastasia will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Rye, Texas. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Anastasia had worked for Portable Flaring as service supervisor. He was an avid Astros and Texan fan and enjoyed watching their games. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, going jet skiing and going to the driving range. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his work family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Costello was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha S. Costello, and Anthony Curtis Costello. He is survived by his wife Leslie Ara Costello; sister, Rosalie “Cookie” Tanton, and Virginia Williamson and husband Robert, Blanca Fowler and husband Vernon, JoAnne French and husband Dana, Cindy Lopez and husband Trinidad; brother, John Curtis Costello, Jr. and wife Linda; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
