Born on May 4, 1955, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Raymond Neal and Lucille Kemp Neal, Amy's life was defined by her love for simple pleasures and unwavering devotion to her family.
Having spent the last six years in Dayton, Amy previously called Huffman home, where she cultivated lifelong friendships and treasured memories. Amy was a woman of diverse interests and passions, finding joy in the tranquility of fishing, the challenge of puzzles, and the boundless imagination of Star Trek, a series she watched with unwavering enthusiasm, each episode a beloved journey into the cosmos.
Amy's love for the past was reflected in her appreciation for oldies music and the warmth of campfires, where she found solace and companionship. She had a fondness for collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, each item a reminder of cherished moments and shared laughter.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl Raines, and her siblings Thomas Holliman, Ernest Holliman, Jimmy Holliman, and Frances Wren. She is survived by her devoted sons, Joshua Dean Raines, and Jacob Charles Raines (Tiffany), and her daughter, Jennifer Renee Raines, along with her grandchildren Joseph, Gage, Jaida, Gaiden, Chase, and Angela. Amy is also survived by her sisters Doris Williams Humphrey and Ramona Neal, brothers Jack Williams, Mitchell Williams and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
