Obituary for Alvis Lenard Ware

Alvis Lenard Ware, born on July 3, 1941, in Bell County, Texas, to Arvlin L. Ware and Lenora Carroll Ware, and he passed away on August 27, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Anthony.

Alvis is survived by his loving sisters; Eva Bearden and husband David of Austin, Texas; Elaine Brady and wife Diane of San Jose, California; and Cheryl Raines and husband Billy of Spring, Texas.

He cherished his family deeply, often carrying pictures of his nieces and nephews in his wallet.

After graduating high school, Alvis proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years before retiring. He built a home in Hull, Texas, where he lived until his passing.

Alvis will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and remembered for his love of books.
