Alvie Lee Heuszel

Alvie Lee Heuszel, age 90, of Cypress, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013. He was born December 26, 1922 to Jesse James and Mittie Lee Heuszel. He His parents preceded him in death as did his brothers William Theodore Heuszel, Leland Thomas Heuszel and Lewis Guenther Heuszel and his sister Helen Marie Heuszel Bizzell. He was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Louis Heuszel in 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 69+ years Leah Penrod Heuszel. Also surviving him is his sister Jessie Louise Heuszel Stanford and her husband Melvin of Conroe TX; his daughter Sharon Lee Heuszel Thompson and her husband David of Cypress TX; four grandchildren Lane Thompson and wife Necole of Katy TX, Kipp Thompson and wife Kristy of Brenham TX, Lauren Heuszel and fiancé Brian of Houston TX, and Katie Silva and husband Jeremy of Houston TX. His great-grandchildren are Jordyn Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Haley Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Averee Silva and Jeremy Silva, Jr. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 10:00 a.m. prior to service time at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, TX. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, TX with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
