Alva Marie “Pat†Philips Dalton, 85, of Dayton, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the Kindred Hospital in Baytown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary at 7p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Pat was born September 4, 1929 in LaGrange, to parents; Walker and Christine Kadlecek Philips, a former resident of Port Lavaca, and has resided in Dayton for the past seven years. She was a homemaker, member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, and the Women’s International Leadership Association. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing, and crafts. Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Alonzo “Don†Dalton, son: Troy Dalton, and brothers: Frank Philips, William Philips, and Leboy Philips. She is survived by her daughters: Pam Mulcare and husband Mike of Dayton, Sandy Livanec and husband Mike of Dayton, and Donna Dalton of Dayton, sisters: Evelyn Pickering of Tennessee and Jeanette Boutwell of Houston, brothers: B.J. Philips of Gonzales, Leslie Philips of Houston, and Michael Philips of Sugarland, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
