Alva "Cissie" A. Dillard

Alva “Cissie” A. Dillard, age 66 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born August 23, 1952 in Bedias, Texas to parents Walter Snook and Inez Fox who preceded her in death along with her husband, Duane Dillard and brother-in-law, Fred Fruge.

Cissie was a cat lover who enjoyed bowling, flea-marketing, and fishing. She was a strong-willed and independent woman who was the backbone of her family, and was always ready her family members whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include her companion, William Harvey; daughter, Samantha Ticknor and husband Wayne; brothers, Jerry Snook and wife Connie, Roy Lee Fox, Kenny Fox and wife Crystal, and Bobby Fox; sisters, Velta Vance and husband Edward, Pat Fruge, and Mandy Fox; grandchildren, Aaron Helms and Rebecca Walthall; niece, Victoria Moake and husband Joe; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and animal companion, Pee Wee.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas
