Alice Juanita Dial

Alice Juanita Nickerson Dial, 86, of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 in Conroe. She was born June 6, 1932 in Madisonville, Texas to her late parents, English Lamar Nickerson and Ila Inez Parker Nickerson.

Mrs. Dial has been a resident of Dayton since 1968 and previously lived in Houston. She was a retired nurse, having spent most of her career as a personal nurse to Mr. and Mrs. Lawler in Houston, was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Henry Dial, Sr.; sons, Harold Henry Dial, Jr. and Martin Andrew Dial and brothers and sisters, Willie Buford Nickerson, English Lamar Nickerson, Jr., Lila B. Hogue, Jerry Don Nickerson, Ruben L. Nickerson and Debra Kay Nickerson.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Dial and his wife Connie and Joe Dial and his wife Cynthia; daughter-in-law, Regina Lynn McGuire; brother, Cecil Nickerson and his wife Jackie; sisters, Jean McDonald and Patricia Ann Fuller; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2019 at Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington Prairie with Rev. Robert Brown officiating.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dial, Nolan Dial, Jeff Dial, Steven Nickerson, Randy Nickerson and Jason Nickerson. The honorary pallbearer will be Gilbert McGuire.
