JOHNSON Addie Marie Johnson, age 95, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Cravens, Louisiana on November 9, 1916 to Carroll Leazine and Rose Allie Johnson who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Archie Johnson; granddaughter, Karla Ann Houston; two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and blessed with grace, beauty and strength; being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she adored her family whole heartedly. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She will be remembered lovingly by her daughters, Sharron Lynda Martin and husband, Robert of Splendora, Texas, Shirley Marie Foster and husband, Robert of Cleveland, Texas, Carla Pollard and Gerald of Splendora, Texas; son, Jennings Carroll Johnson and wife, Susan of Leesville, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Zelle Nichols and Maxine Johnson; brother-in-law, Franklin Johnson and wife, Betty; special friends, Emma Williams, Ruth White and Nola Faye Bass; her faithful companion, her cat “Bobbie”; many loved nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends. The family will welcome friends for visitation Friday, January 6, 2012, 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Arlen Smith and Kenneth Lowery will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, January 7, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Cravens, Louisiana with interment following at Gravel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Roy Martin, Michael Martin, Kevin Johnson, Shane Guimbellot, John Robert Childress, Deven Smith, Darren Stewart, and Jerimah Martin. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Gravel Hill Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. George J.
