Karen Renee McNair, 58, of Dayton, died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in Dayton with reception thereafter. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Karen was born January 21, 1956 in Pasadena, to parents; Asa B. and Gytha Rusk McNair, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1974, received her undergraduate in finance from Stephen F. Austin University, and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. Karen was an Assistant County attorney for Liberty County, member of the First United Methodist Church of Dayton, the Texas Bar Association, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and participated in many other social activities. She also enjoyed horses, music, theater, and spending time with her family.

Ms. McNair was preceded in death by her father: Asa B. McNair. She is survived by her husband of 31 years: Rick Fosburgh of Dayton, daughters: Paula Rae Harville and husband Darby of Virginia, and Kristen Renee Fosburgh of Houston, son: Asa Matthew Fosburgh of Dayton, mother: Gytha Rusk McNair of Dayton, brothers: Craig McNair and wife Lisa of Dayton and Mark McNair and wife Jerri of Burleson, father-in-law: Bob Fosburgh and wife Lola of Dayton, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
